This the official telephone of Prank Call Central. It is a Western Electric Model 302. Designed by Henry Dreyfus and put into service in 1937, the Western Electric 302 is probably one of the most well known of the classic phones. One of its nicknames is the "Lucy" phone because of its many appearances on the "I Love Lucy" show. At Prank Call Central it is used mainly for making prank calls.

Scharpling finds himself on the telephone with Wurster, in a variety of personas, spewing what could be described as utterly ridiculous, yet very, very funny, nonsense on a variety of topics. The first segment involves a phone call from a musician in a rock band, who has mistakenly dialed up WFMU thinking he’s calling a morning zoo program to promote the band. Next comes a funny discussion on a latest diet fad, and the insanity goes on and on from there. The tracks on this 2-CD set represent some of their funniest work from the last three years of The Best Show on WFMU and show host Tom Scharpling and caller Jon Wurster, continuing in the tradition of their previous releases.
